Alec Baillie
Alec Baillie (died November 10, 2020) was an American bassist. He played in the bands Choking Victim, Agent 99, and Leftöver Crack. Biography Baillie grew up in Manhattan and attended the same high school as his future bandmate Scott "Stza" Sturgeon. In the early 1990s, Baillie, Dunia Best, Jay Nugent and Ara Babajian formed the third wave ska band, Agent 99. In 1998, three years after the band had split up, a compilation album, ''Little Pieces 1993–1995'', was released. Baillie then formed a short lived punk band called No Commercial Value with Stza. Baillie later joined Stza's band Choking Victim after the departure of original bassist Sascha Scatter, and went on to play in Choking Victim from 1995 to 1997. Upon the dissolution of Choking Victim, Baillie went on to join a familiar lineup in Leftöver Crack. Alec Birtwell
Alexander Joseph Birtwell (17 December 1908 – 20 November 1974) was an English cricketer. A leg-break spin bowler and tail-end right-handed batsman, Birtwell made fourteen appearances for Lancashire between 1937 and 1939. Career Born in Burnley, Lancashire in 1908, Birtwell took to cricket in the Lancashire League playing for Burnley and later Nelson in the Worsley Cup from 1930 – though he was hit for fifteen runs in his only over on his debut Lancashire League match. He featured in Buckinghamshire's Minor Counties Championship team from 1934 to 1936, taking five wickets in his debut match against Hertfordshire on 11 August His achievements won him a place in the Lancashire Second XI. Alec Birrell
William Alexander Hamilton Birrell (24 January 1885 – 11 May 1948) was a doctor and an Australian rules footballer who played for University in the Victorian Football League (VFL). The oldest son of Albert Veit Birrell and Christina Matheson, Alec Birrell was born in Laen (near Donald, Victoria) and was educated at Geelong College where he was a prominent member of the school football team. He proceeded to study medicine at the University of Melbourne and during his student years Birrell was promoted from the seconds to play one VFL match for University against South Melbourne in the first round of the 1911 VFL season. After graduating as a doctor in 1914, he served with the 20th Light Horse and British Royal Army Medical Corps in World War I. Alec John Bettinger (born July 13, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Milwaukee Brewers. Career Bettinger attended Hylton High School in Woodbridge, Virginia and played college baseball at the University of Virginia. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 10th round of the 2017 MLB Draft. Bettinger made his professional debut with the rookie ball Helena Brewers. He split the 2018 season between the Single-A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and the High-A Carolina Mudcats, accumulating a 6–10 record and 5.22 ERA in 25 games. Sir Alec Victor Bedser (4 July 1918 – 4 April 2010) was a professional English cricketer, primarily a medium-fast bowler. He is widely regarded as one of the best English cricketers of the 20th century. Bedser played first-class cricket for Surrey from 1939 to 1960 alongside his identical twin brother Eric. He took 1924 first-class wickets in 485 matches. He played Test cricket for England from 1946 to 1955, taking 236 wickets in 51 Test matches. He passed Clarrie Grimmett's world record for Test wickets in 1953. He held the record until his final tally was passed by Brian Statham in 1963.
