Alec Mills (soccer)
Alec Campbell Mills (born 24 February 2001), is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Brisbane Roar NPL. Mills hails from Wooragee in Victoria's north-east, playing for NPL side Murray United as a junior before being recruited by Melbourne City. Currently plays for Preston Lions FC in Victoria Premier League 1. Club career Melbourne City Mills started playing in Melbourne City's youth selections with under-20s and reserve team including the Y-League squad for the 2019–20 Y-League season. On 3 February 2021, Mills made his debut in the A-League, against the Central Coast Mariners as a substitute replacing Florin Berenguer in a 3–2 loss. Y-League
A-League Youth, formerly known as the National Youth League and Y-League, is an Australian national soccer youth developmental and under-21s league, founded by Football Federation Australia and now run by the Australian Professional Leagues. The current league was established as a successor to the previous competition of the National Youth League (1984–2004) and commenced in August 2008. The league runs in conjunction with the A-League Men as a developmental or reserve league. The league, as well as the A-League Men and A-League Women are administered by the Australian Professional Leagues. In 2020 it was contested by ten teams, all of which competed in the A-League. From the 2020–21 season, the league was to expand to eleven teams with the introduction of Western United, however the season was cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia. The 2020–21 season was the eleventh in the history of Melbourne City Football Club. The club competed in the A-League for the eleventh time. The National Premier Leagues Victoria 3, commonly referred to as NPL Victoria 3, is a semi-professional soccer league in Victoria, Australia. The league is the third-highest in the Victorian league system, behind NPL Victoria and NPL Victoria 2, and forms part of the fourth tier of the overall Australian pyramid. The league was created from the bottom halves of NPL Victoria 2 East and West, when the league was reorganised from two geographic conferences to two separate vertical NPL divisions. Florin Berenguer-Bohrer (born 1 April 1989) is a French professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Australian club Melbourne City FC. Club career Berenguer trained at the youth academy of Sochaux. He began his senior career in 2009 for Dijon FCO, playing in both Ligue 1 and Ligue 2. Central Coast Mariners Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in Gosford, on the Central Coast of New South Wales.
