Aldona Jonaitis
Aldona Jonaitis is the director of the University of Alaska Museum of the North, a professor of anthropology at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and an author who has published widely on Native American art. From 1975 to 1989, Jonaitis was a faculty member and administrator at the State University at Stony Brook. Then from 1989 to 1993 she was the vice president for public programs at the American Museum of Natural History. Curator
A curator (from la, cura, meaning "to take care") is a manager or overseer. When working with cultural organizations, a curator is typically a "collections curator" or an "exhibitions curator", and has multifaceted tasks dependent on the particular institution and its mission. In recent years the role of curator has evolved alongside the changing role of museums, and the term "curator" may designate the head of any given division.
