Aldo Brunacci
Don Aldo Brunacci (2 April 1913 – 2 February 2007) was the pastor of the San Rufino Cathedral. During World War II, he was head of the Assisi Network, Assisi network (along with the Bishop Giuseppe Placido Nicolini and Father Rufino Nikachi), who worked in order to save Jews. Early life Aldo was born on April 2, 1913, in Assisi to a family of artists. He studied at an elementary school in Assisi (named after Papa Jovana, the 23rd pope) and continued his studies in Rome. Activity during WWII In 1943, Italy surrendered to the Allies of World War II, and as a result, the Nazis conquered Italy from the north. They appointed Benito Mussolini to be governor, who enacted the Racial Laws of segregation. This led to several Jews and resistance movements against the government to escape from the Nazis to several cities, including Assisi. Pastor
A pastor (abbreviated as "Pr" or "Ptr" , or "Ps" ) is the leader of a Christian congregation who also gives advice and counsel to people from the community or congregation. In Lutheranism, Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, Oriental Orthodoxy and Anglicanism, pastors are always ordained. In Methodism, pastors may be either licensed or ordained. Pastors are to act like shepherds by caring for the flock, and this care includes teaching. The New Testament typically uses the words "bishops" ( Acts 20:28) and "presbyter" ( 1 Peter 5:1) to indicate the ordained leadership in early Christianity. Likewise, Peter instructs these particular servants to "act like shepherds" as they "oversee" the flock of God ( 1 Peter 5:2). The words "bishop" and "presbyter" were sometimes used in an interchangeable way, such as in Titus 1:5-6. Luigi Brizi
is a fictional character featured in video games and related media released by Nintendo. Created by Japanese video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto, Luigi is portrayed as the younger fraternal twin brother and sidekick of Mario, Nintendo's mascot. Luigi appears in many games throughout the Mario (franchise), ''Mario'' franchise, oftentimes accompanying his brother.
