Carlos Nuno Tavares Calado (born October 5, 1975 in Alcanena, Médio Tejo) is an athlete from Portugal, Sporting CP and S.L. Benfica, who specialises in the long jump. He was at his peak in 2001 when he won bronze medals at both the World Indoor and Outdoor Championships and set the indoor national record of 8.22 metres. His outdoor personal best of 8.36 metres, set in 1997, is also the national record. His last major competition was in triple jump at the European Indoor Championships in early 2005, where he was knocked out in the qualifying round. Maria Da Conceição Moita
Maria da Conceição Moita also known as Xexão (5 April 1937 – 30 March 2021) was a Portuguese educator and activist in the fight against the dictatorship of Estado Novo. She participated in protests against dictatorship and the Portuguese Colonial War and gave logistical support to the Brigadas Revolucionárias. On 30 December 1972, Moita was a part of a religious vigil in Capela do Rato where she announced a hunger strike against the government and against the Catholic hierarchy for not speaking out against the dictatorship. She was noted later as having been the person who properly envisioned the "wonderful fruits of the Second Vatican Council" in Portugal. She was arrested by the PIDE in December 1973, and was released after 25 April 1974. Moita died on 30 March 2021, aged 83. The Portuguese Parliament paid tribute to the death of Conceição Moita. Serras de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park (PNSAC) is a natural park in central west Portugal. It occupies an area of and is the most important repository of limestone formations in Portugal with a variety of geological formations associated with karst topography such as caves (including pit caves), sinkholes, uvalas, poljes, limestone pavements, ponors, among others. An ''Assembleia Municipal'' (; "municipal assembly"; plural: ''assembleias municipais'') is the legislature that governs a municipality in Portugal.
