Alby, Botkyrka
Alby is a suburb in Botkyrka Municipality within Stockholm. Alby has one of the 100 stations of the Stockholm metro system. Alby, a municipal area in Botkyrka, with a population of approximately 10,000, most of which live in the 3,000 apartments owned by the construction company Botkyrkabyggen. Alby Centre Alby centre was renovated during the 1990s, creating a new square and more premises for entrepreneurs. During the year 2000, Alby centre has been repainted inside and Alby's only heated garage has received a substantial facelift. Alby Mathewson
Albert Samuel "Alby" Mathewson (born 13 December 1985) is a New Zealand rugby union player who plays as a scrum-half. Early life and education Mathewson was born in Hastings, New Zealand. He first attended Havelock North High School but switched to Hastings Boys' High School to improve his game. He studied at Victoria University after finishing his schooling. Rugby Mathewson made his Wellington debut in 2006 and Hurricanes debut in 2007, before shifting to the Blues in 2010. Mathewson made his international debut for New Zealand in 2010. Alby Thorne
Albert "Alby" Thorne was an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1930s and 1940s. He represented the New South Wales Police rugby league team and the Sydney Colts. Playing career Thorne played three seasons with South Sydney of the NSWRL Premiership in 1935, 1936 and 1942 (not playing a game in 1937). He debuted in round 6 against Newtown in 1935. He played on the wing, and Souths ended up winning 17-11. This was Thorne's only game of the season. Souths lost the grand final to Eastern Suburbs 19-3 in front of 22,106 people at Sydney Cricket Ground. In 1937, Thorne scored his first and only career goal in a 49-9 win in round 6 against University (who only won one game for the season and collected their seventh wooden spoon in eight seasons). Albert John "Alby" Schultz (29 May 193914 July 2015) was an Australian politician. He was a Liberal member of the Australian House of Representatives from October 1998 to August 2013, representing the Division of Hume in New South Wales. Biography Early life Schultz was born in Melbourne, Victoria, and was a meat processing worker before entering politics. He was a field officer for the Liberal Party (1986–88) and a member of the Cootamundra Shire Council (1983–91). Career Schultz was the member for Burrinjuck in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 1988 to 1998, before being elected to represent Hume at the 1998 federal election. He was subsequently returned at the 2001, 2004, 2007 and 2010 elections. Alby Rodda
Albert Rupert Joseph Rodda (8 September 1920 – 15 May 2002) was an Australian rules football player in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Rodda played 50 odd games with the State Savings Bank Football Club in the Amateurs prior to joining Melbourne. He was a member of the Melbourne's VFL premiership teams in 1939, 1940 and 1948. Rodda was a member of Melbourne's 1946 losing VFL grand final team and was Melbourne's best player in the 1948 drawn VFL grand final. Rodda coached Myrtleford in the Ovens & Murray Football League from 1951 to 1954, and was runner up in the 1955 O&MFL best and fairest award, the Morris Medal in 1955. Rodda then coached Bright in the Ovens & King Football League in 1956 and 1957 and won the club best and fairest in 1957 too. Albert William Roberts (20 August 1909 – 13 May 1978) was a New Zealand Test cricketer who played in five Tests from 1930 to 1937. Career as a batsman Roberts made his first-class debut in 1927–28 at the age of 18 as a middle-order batsman for Canterbury. In 1929–30 he made 38 (top score) and 23 against the touring MCC, then after making 54, 70, 76 and 24 not out in his next two matches he was selected for New Zealand's first Test. However, he made only 3 and 5 and was one of several players left out of the side for the next Test. He scored his first century in 1930–31 against Wellington, when his 116 helped turn a 127-run first-innings deficit into a 139-run victory. Sabrina Sophie Pretto (born Alberto Pretto) is an Italian ballet dancer. She was formerly a soloist with Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo ballet company. She was previously a company member with Stadtheater Koblenz and Les Ballets Grandiva, and danced as a guest artist with English National Ballet and Fondazione Arena of Verona. Alby Pannam
Albert Constantine Pannam (19 April 1914 – 17 March 1993) was an Australian rules footballer who played in the VFL between 1933 and 1943 and then again in 1945 for the Collingwood Football Club. He then was captain/coach for the Richmond Football Club Seconds side from 1946 to 1952, leading them to the premiership in 1946. During this tenure he played twice for the Richmond senior side in 1947. He was senior coach of Richmond from 1953 to 1955. He later coached Oakleigh in the VFA to the 1960 premiership.
