Alberto Moncayo
Alberto Moncayo Bernal (born 23 July 1991) is a Grand Prix motorcycle racer from Spain. Career Early career Born in Cadiz, Moncayo began competitive racing at a young age and won his first championship at the age of eleven, winning the Valencian minimoto championship before winning the championship of Andalucia the following season. Moncayo then moved up to 125cc level in 2005, competing in the Catalan championship, where he would finish eleventh in the 2005 championship and improved to finish runner-up in 2006. He moved up to the CEV Buckler 125GP series in 2007 where he would compete for three full seasons, ending up with the championship in 2009 with three victories at Valencia, Albacete and Catalunya. 125cc World Championship Moncayo made his début in the 125cc World Championship in , making a wildcard appearance at the Spanish Grand Prix, finishing 25th in the race. 2010 Qatar Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2010 Qatar motorcycle Grand Prix, officially the Commercialbank Grand Prix of Qatar, was the opening round of the 2010 MotoGP championship. It took place on the weekend of 9–11 April 2010 at the Losail International Circuit located in Doha, Qatar. Spectator attendance was 7302. Defending world champion Valentino Rossi won the opening MotoGP race after Casey Stoner crashed while in the lead, ending his undefeated streak from 2007. This was also the first race for the newly formed Moto2 class, which was introduced as a replacement for the 250cc two-stroke class. All bikes in this class were powered with 600cc four-stroke engines based on the Honda CBR600RR. The 2008 French motorcycle Grand Prix was the fifth round of the 2008 MotoGP Championship. It took place on the weekend of 16–18 May 2008 at the Le Mans Bugatti Circuit. It was also the final all- Yamaha podium until the 2014 Australian motorcycle Grand Prix. The 2012 French motorcycle Grand Prix was the fourth round of the 2012 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It took place on the weekend of 18–20 May 2012 at the Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans, France. In a press conference on the Thursday before the race, Casey Stoner announced his retirement from the sport at the end of the season. He went on to finish third in the MotoGP race, handing the championship lead to Jorge Lorenzo, the race winner. The 2012 Qatar motorcycle Grand Prix was the first round of the 2012 MotoGP season. It was held at the Losail International Circuit near Doha in Qatar on 8 April 2012. It was contested over twenty-two laps.
