Albert Murasira
Major General Albert Murasira (born 11 November 1962), is a Rwandan politician and military officer who has served as Minister of Defense in the Cabinet of Rwanda, Rwandan cabinet, since 18 October 2018. Before that, from February 2012 until October 2018, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Zigama Credit and Savings Bank, a licensed cooperative bank, serving the members of the Rwandan Defence Forces. Early life and education Albert Murasira was born to Rwandese parents in Maniema Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo, on 11 November 1962. He attended primary school and middle school in Maniema Province, DRCongo. He completed his high school in Rwanda, matriculating in 1983, from Ecole des Sciences Byimana, Byimana School of Sciences in Ruhango District, Southern Province, Rwanda, Southern Province in 1983. James Kabarebe
James Kabarebe (born 1959) is a Rwandan military officer who has served as a Senior Presidential Adviser on security matters in the government of Rwanda, since 19 October 2018. Kabarebe was a key figure in both the First Congo War and the Second Congo War as a commanding officer. Like many officers from both sides of those wars he is accused of leading numerous atrocities against civilians. From 10 April 2010 until 18 October 2018, he was the Rwandan Ministry of Defence (Rwanda), Minister of Defence. He served as a Rwandan Patriotic Army Commander and was an Alliance of Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Congo strategist. Bugesera District
Bugesera is a district (''akarere'') in Eastern Province, Rwanda. Its capital is Nyamata. The district is the location of two memorial sites of the Rwandan genocide at Ntarama and Nyamata. Geography Bugesera comprises areas south of Kigali, which were formerly in the Kigali Ngali province, around the town of Nyamata. The area is prone to droughts as it has a higher average daytime temperature than the Rwandan average, and lower precipitation.
