Mauiloa
Mauiloa was a High Chief (''Aliʻi'') of Maui. He is mentioned in legends and old chants and was likely a semi-historical person or character from myths. He had control over portions of Western Maui and relied on the allegiance of many district chiefs. Mauiloa was a contemporary of Laamaikahiki on Kauai. From the time of Mauiloa to the time of Kaulahea I, there must have been troubled times on the island of Maui. Name of Mauiloa can be translated as "Great/Magnificent Maui". The beginning of Mauiloa's rule was marked by countless battles to establish authority from many of the district chieftains of Maui. Mauiloa was a son and successor of High Chief Hanalaʻa. His mother was Chiefess Mahuia. Mauiloa had married Kauhua and had a son Alau of Maui. He was a successor of his father. An alley-oop in basketball is an offensive play in which one player throws the ball near the basket to a teammate who jumps, catches the ball in mid-air and dunks or lays it in before touching the ground. The alley-oop combines elements of teamwork, pinpoint passing, timing and finishing. Etymology The term "alley-oop" is derived from the French term ''allez hop!'', the cry of a circus acrobat about to leap. The term “Alley Oop” was first popularized in the US in 1932 as the name of a syndicated comic strip created by cartoonist V. T. Hamlin. In sports, the term "alley-oop" first appeared in the 1950s by the San Francisco 49ers of the NFL to describe a high arcing pass from quarterback Y. A. Tittle to wide receiver R.C. Alau Ice Palace
The Alau Ice Palace ( kk, Алау Мұзайдыны сарайы; Alau Mūzaidyny Saraiy) is an 8,000-seat speed skating oval in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. As well as speed skating it is also used for other sports. It was opened in 2011. The center hosted the speed skating events at the 2011 Asian Winter Games. In 2015, it hosted the World Sprint Speed Skating Championships. It was ranked first among the world’s speed skating stadiums according to the Dutch AD Sportwereld publication’s ranking. For judo it was the venue for the 2015 World Judo Championships in August 2015 and for ice speedway it hosted final 1 of the 2018 Individual Ice Racing World Championship. Durio Graveolens
''Durio graveolens,'' sometimes called the red-fleshed durian, orange-fleshed durian, or yellow durian, is a species of tree in the family Malvaceae. It is one of six species of durian named by Italian naturalist Odoardo Beccari. The specific epithet ('strong smelling' or 'rank') is due to the odor. Although most species of ''Durio'' (most notably ''Durio dulcis'') have a strong scent, the red-fleshed type of ''D. graveolens'' has a mild scent. It is native to Southeast Asia. ''D. graveolens'' is an edible durian, perhaps the most popular 'wild' species of durian, and it is sold commercially regionally. However, its congener ''Durio zibethinus'' is the typical species eaten and dominates sales worldwide.
