Alaric Kormu Tokpa is a Liberian politician and political scientist. He ran alongside George Klay Kieh in the New Deal Movement and, as a pair, received 0.5% of the vote in the 11 October 2005 presidential election. Tokpa has been pursuing a Ph.D. at Clark Atlanta University. Liberia (), officially the Republic of Liberia, is a country on the West African coast. George Klay Kieh
George Klay Kieh Jr. (born 2 March 1956) is a Liberian educator and independent politician, and an avid admirer of former U.S. President Jimmy Carter. Early life Kieh was born in Harbel, Firestone on March 2, 1956. He attended the University of Liberia where he was granted a bachelor of arts degree in political science. Kieh continued his education in the United States at Northwestern University in Illinois where he earned a master's degree and Ph.D. in political science. Political career Running as the NDM presidential candidate in the 11 October 2005 elections alongside Alaric Tokpa and placed 17th out of 22 candidates, receiving 0.5% of the vote.
