"Alapaap" (English: Skies) is a song by the Eraserheads from the album ''Circus''. The song was the band's ninth hit single and the fourth hit single from the album. The song has been covered by 6cyclemind twice (in 2005 with Ney Dimaculangan and 2012 with Tutti Caringal). The song starts with a bass riff by Buddy Zabala Controversy Senator Tito Sotto called for the banning of "Alapaap" from airplay, claiming that the song promotes illegal drugs The band, however, replied to the allegations through a letter to the lawmaker. Performances The band performed the song in their historical reunion concert last August 30, 2008 as an opening song. The band last performed the song in their Final Set concert last March 7, 2009 wherein they played the song in a different rendition. Francis Michael Durango Magalona (October 4, 1964 – March 6, 2009), also known by the moniker Francis M, was a Filipino rapper, singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, actor, and television personality. Born in Manila, He became a significant influence to artists in the Pinoy hip-hop scene and the local rap community. Beyond music, Magalona was also a television host on MTV Asia and Channel V Philippines and on the noontime variety television show ''Eat Bulaga!''. ''It's a Shame About Ray'' is the fifth album by American alternative rock band the Lemonheads, released on June 2, 1992. The album was produced by the Robb Brothers. At the time of principal recording, the band consisted of Evan Dando (lead vocals, guitar), Juliana Hatfield (bass, backing vocals) and David Ryan (drums). Though not originally on the album, the band's cover of Simon & Garfunkel's "Mrs. Robinson" was added to the album in later pressings after it had become a major worldwide radio hit, and it features a later lineup of the band with Nic Dalton on bass. The Pale Fountains
The Pale Fountains were an English band formed in Liverpool in 1980, and composed of Mick Head (vocalist/guitarist), Chris McCaffery (bassist), Thomas Whelan (drummer), trumpet player Andy Diagram (horns) and Ken Moss (Guitar/Bass). Diagram was simultaneously a member of Dislocation Dance for most of the Pale Fountains' existence.
