Deddy Mizwar
Deddy Mizwar (born 5 March 1955) is an Indonesian actor, film director and politician, born of an Indo (Dutch- Betawi) father and Betawi- Bugis mother. He is the Chairman of Indonesia's National Film Advisory Board (''Badan Pertimbangan Perfilman Nasional'') and former Vice Governor of West Java. He also ran for governorship of the province in the 2018 election. Rineke Antoinette Hassim (born 29 April 1945), best known by her stage name Rina Hasyim (also Hassim), is an Indonesian actress and model who has won both a Citra Award for Best Leading Actress and Citra Award for Best Supporting Actress. Biography Rina Hasyim was born Rineke Antoinette Hassim on 29 April 1945 in Ujung Pandang a districts in Makassar, South Sulawesi. Raised strictly by her mother, she began rebelling and gravitated towards music. She was a member of the bands Dara Kusumah and Diskonit while a youth, playing the bass. Indonesia has submitted feature films for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film since 1987. The award is given annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to a feature-length motion picture produced outside the United States that contains primarily non-English dialogue. It was created for the 1956 Academy Awards, in which a competitive Academy Award of Merit, known as the Best Foreign Language Film Award, was created for non-English speaking films, and has been given annually since. , 23 Indonesian films have been successfully ''submitted'' for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, but none of them have been ''nominated'' for it. This is a list of submissions to the 83rd Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has invited the film industries of various countries to submit their best film for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film every year since the award was created in 1956. The award is presented annually by the Academy to a feature-length motion picture produced outside the United States that contains primarily non-English dialogue. The Foreign Language Film Award Committee oversees the process and reviews all the submitted films. The deadline for all countries to send in their submissions was 1 October 2010. The submitted motion pictures must be first released theatrically in their respective countries between 1 October 2009, and 30 September 2010. Slamet Rahardjo Djarot or better known as Slamet Rahardjo (born 21 January 1949) is an Indonesian actor, director, and screenwriter of Javanese descent. He is the elder brother of director, songwriter, and politician, Eros Djarot.
