Alan Trejo
Alan Ray Trejo (born May 30, 1996) is a Mexican-American professional baseball infielder in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Colorado Rockies. He was drafted in the 16th round of the 2017 MLB draft by the Rockies and made his MLB debut for them in 2021. He played for the Mexico national team in the 2023 World Baseball Classic. Career Amateur career Trejo attended Cathedral High School in Los Angeles, and transferred to Warren High School in Downey, California where his father is a current Math teacher. He enrolled at San Diego State University and played college baseball for the San Diego State Aztecs. History Cathedral High School was founded by Archbishop John Joseph Cantwell as the first Los Angeles Archdiocesan high school for boys in Fall 1925. The Sugar Land Space Cowboys are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros Major League Baseball club. Mauricio Andre Dubón ( born July 19, 1994) is a Honduran professional baseball utility player for the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball (MLB). Selected during the 26th round of the 2013 MLB draft by the Boston Red Sox, Dubón made his MLB debut with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2019, and has also played for the San Francisco Giants. Albuquerque Isotopes
The Albuquerque Isotopes are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. They play home games at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at an elevation of above sea level. College Baseball
College baseball is baseball that is played on the intercollegiate level at institutions of higher education. In comparison to football and basketball, college competition in the United States plays a smaller role in developing professional players, as baseball's professional minor leagues are more extensive, with a greater history of supplying players to MLB. Moving directly from high school to the professional level is more common in baseball than in football or basketball. However, if players do opt to enroll at a four-year college to play baseball, they must complete three years to regain professional eligibility, unless they reach age 21 before starting their third year of college.
