Alan Sciuto
Alan Sciuto (born 28 April 1988 in Orange, California) is a former racing driver. Sciuto competed previously in the Atlantic Championship among other series. Racing career Sciuto started his racing career in 2001 with the SKUSA organisation. In his first season Sciuto finished 26th in the season standings of the national 80cc Junior class. The Californian won the championship in the following year beating many young prospects such as James Hinchcliffe and Graham Rahal. In 2004 Sciuto finished second in the Stars of Karting shifterkart championship. After a shootout race at Infineon Raceway Sciuto was selected for the Red Bull Junior Team in 2004. Sciuto made his auto racing debut in the Formula BMW USA at Lime Rock Park in 2004. The following year Sciuto mainly competed in the Skip Barber National Championship after winning the Skip Barber Scholarship. Road Atlanta (known for sponsorship reasons as Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta) is a road course located just north of Braselton, Georgia, United States. The facility is utilized for a wide variety of events, including professional and amateur sports car and motorcycle races, racing and driving schools, corporate programs and testing for motorsports teams. The track has 12 turns, including the famous " esses" between turns three and five; and Turn 12, a downhill, diving turn. Grand Prix Of Denver
The Grand Prix of Denver was a Champ Car race last held on a street circuit in Denver, Colorado, United States. A Champ Car race was first held in Denver in 1909 on a 14.5-mile (23.3-km) road circuit in nearby Brighton. Racing returned to the Centennial Park dirt oval in 1951 and 1952 under AAA sanctioning. 38 years later Champ Cars returned to Denver with a CART-sanctioned event downtown near the Civic Center. However, like the previous incarnation, that race also lasted only two years. CART returned to Denver in 2002 with a race on a 1.64-mile (2.64-km) temporary circuit around the then-named Pepsi Center. The final race was held in 2006. Virginia International Raceway (commonly known as "VIR") is a race track located in Alton, Virginia, near Danville. It is less than a half-mile from the North Carolina/Virginia border just outside Milton, North Carolina, on the banks of the Dan River. Reynard Motorsport was the world's largest racing car manufacturer in the 1980s. Road America is a motorsport road course located near Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, United States on Wisconsin Highway 67. It has hosted races since the 1950s and currently hosts races in the NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series, WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, IndyCar Series, SCCA Pirelli World Challenge, ASRA, AMA Superbike series, and SCCA Pro Racing's Trans-Am Series. Lime Rock Park is a natural-terrain motorsport road racing venue located in Lakeville, Connecticut, United States, a hamlet in the town of Salisbury, in the state's northwest corner. The Red Bull Junior Team is a driver development program run by the energy drink company Red Bull GmbH in an attempt to identify potential future racing stars in open wheel racing. The similar Red Bull Driver Search, now ended, was an American spinoff of the same idea held in 2005. Members of the Junior Team are financed and sponsored by Red Bull in lower racing formulae.
