Current products and services Alan Rogers Guides The most established and best-known product offered by Alan Rogers Travel Group is the campsite guidebooks, started in 1968 by Alan Rogers(camping), Alan Rogers. Since their inception, the guides have provided readers with an independent recommendation of the highest quality campsites in Europe. In 2011, themed guides were launched including a guide to glamping. It was founded in 1907 and now represents nearly one million members (caravanners, motorhomers and campervanners). Alan Rogers Guides is a campsite guide publisher. It was started in Britain in 1968 by camp enthusiast Alan Rogers. The guides aim to place enhance the quality of the campsites; campsites cannot pay to be in the guide. Travel guides have been published every year (with the exception of 2017) since 1968. In 2018, Alan Rogers Guides celebrated its 50th anniversary. How the campsites are chosen The guides rely on a team of Site Assessors, all of whom are experienced caravanners or motorcaravanners, to visit and recommend parks.
