Alan Parsons
Alan Parsons (born 20 December 1948) is an English audio engineer, songwriter, musician and record producer. Parsons was involved with the production of several notable albums, including the Beatles' ''Abbey Road'' (1969) and ''Let It Be'' (1970), Pink Floyd's ''The Dark Side of the Moon'' (1973), and the eponymous debut album by Ambrosia in 1975. Parsons's own group, The Alan Parsons Project, as well as his subsequent solo recordings, have also been commercially successful. He has been nominated for 13 Grammy Awards, with his first win occurring in 2019 for Best Immersive Audio Album for '' Eye in the Sky'' (35th Anniversary Edition). Music career In October 1967, at the age of 18, Parsons went to work as an assistant engineer at Abbey Road Studios. "Sirius" is an instrumental by British rock band the Alan Parsons Project, recorded for their sixth studio album, ''Eye in the Sky'' (1982). Nearly two minutes long, it segues into " Eye in the Sky" on the original recording. Tom Brooks (born October 31, 1954) is an American music producer, arranger, engineer, and conductor. He is keyboardist/Music Director for Alan Parsons and the Alan Parsons Live Project, and is the founding producer of Integrity Music and the '' Hosanna Music'' series distributed by Sony. For his production work Brooks has been awarded 6 Platinum Albums, 12 Gold Albums, a Latin Grammy Award, and a GMA Dove Award. He is Director of the Center for Commercial Music at California Baptist University and Music Professor at Hope International University. Andy Kanavan (born 23 May 1961) is an English classical musician and multi-instrumentalist. He was best known for his work with post-punk bands Level 9, Foreign Playground and German band Styffe. "Old and Wise" is a 1982 song by the Alan Parsons Project from the album ''Eye in the Sky''. The song reached number 21 on the U.S. ''Billboard'' AC chart in early 1983 and number 74 in the United Kingdom; the first of the band's singles to chart in that country. Lead vocal The lead vocal on the original release of "Old and Wise" was performed by former Zombies vocalist Colin Blunstone. Blunstone made several appearances on Alan Parsons Project albums, but "Old and Wise" was the only single with Blunstone as lead singer to gain airplay. Barefoot Park
Barefoot Park ( es, Parque de los Pies Descalzos) is a zen-inspired public park in Medellín, Colombia. The park was funded by EPM and designed by architect Felipe Uribe de Bedout. The park includes a green area with gardens and bamboo, a sand area, and an area with water fountains. As suggested by its name, the park is playful in nature. Children and adults are encouraged to play in the park barefoot. The Barefoot Park was created between 1998 and 2000.
