Alan J. Gow
Alan James Gow (born 23 June 1955) is the chief executive of the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) and president of the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile) Touring Car Commission. He was born in Melbourne, Australia and lives in Surrey, England. A lifelong entrant and competitor in Australian motorsport, Gow had business interests in Melbourne-based car dealerships and commercial property developments. From there, he became involved in the famous Australian racing team run by the legendary Peter Brock and would become a partner/managing director/team principal, whilst also helping to found TEGA – the Australian Touring Car Entrants Group – who are the administrators of, and own the rights to, the V8 Supercars, V8 Supercar Championship. He emigrated to the UK in 1990 and formed TOCA Limited. Wales Rally GB
Wales Rally GB was the most recent iteration of the United Kingdom's premier international motor rally, which ran under various names since the first event held in 1932. It was consistently a round of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) calendar from the inaugural 1973 season until the rally's final running in 2019, and was also frequently included in the British Rally Championship. The first rallies in the 1930s were simply known as Royal Automobile Club (RAC) Rallies and did not necessarily require leaving England. In 1951 the club organised the first annual RAC International Rally of Great Britain to tour the island, and until the 53rd event in 1997 this was still commonly known as the RAC Rally. BMW 3 Series (E36)
The third generation of the BMW 3 Series range of compact executive cars is designated under the model code E36, and was produced by the German automaker BMW from 1990 to 2000. The initial models were of the four-door sedan body style, followed by the coupe, convertible, wagon ("Touring"), hatchback ("Compact"), and the rare four-door convertible Baur TC4 in later years. The E36 was the first 3 Series to be offered in a hatchback body style. It was also the first 3 Series to be available with a six-speed manual transmission (in the 1996 M3), a five-speed automatic transmission, and a four-cylinder diesel engine. 2007 Britcar 24 Hour
The 2007 Britcar 24 Hour or 2007 24 Hours of Silverstone was an automobile endurance race, organised by Britcar, held from 8 to 9 September 2007 at Silverstone Circuit. It was the 3rd edition of the Britcar 24 Hour event. The race was won by Duller Motorsport, running a BMW Z4, driven by Dieter Quester, Dirk Werner, Tim Mullen and Jamie Campbell-Walter. Andrew Graham Priaulx, MBE ( born 8 August 1974) is a British professional racing driver from Guernsey. The FIA World Touring Car Championship was an international touring car championship promoted by Eurosport Events and sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The British Formula Ford Championship was an entry level single seater motor racing category, designed to give racing drivers their first step into car racing after karting.
