''Alan Davies Après-Ski'' is a British comedy television series broadcast on BBC Two between the 7 and 21 February 2014 to coincide with the beginning, middle and end of the 2014 Winter Olympics. Presented by Alan Davies, the three-part series was produced by So Television. Production ''Alan Davies Après-Ski'' was commissioned by Janice Hadlow and Mark Linsey for the BBC. The producer was Mark Barrett and executive producers were Graham Stuart for So Television So Television is a production company established in 1998, founded by Irish comedian Graham Norton and Graham Stuart to make television shows. The company is well known for producing Norton's chat shows, including ''So Graham Norton'' and ''V Gr ... and Alan Tyler for the BBC. Alan Davies
Alan Roger Davies (; born 6 March 1966) is an English stand-up comedian, writer, actor and TV presenter. He is best known for his portrayal of the title role in the BBC mystery drama series ''Jonathan Creek'' (1997–2016) and as the only permanent panellist on the BBC panel show '' QI'' since its premiere in 2003, outlasting its original host Stephen Fry. Early life Davies was born in Loughton, Essex, and spent his childhood years in Chingford. When Davies was six his mother died from leukaemia and he was raised by his father. He was sexually abused by his father from age 8 to 13, as described in his book ''Just Ignore Him''. Davies wrote that his brother and sister were turned against him. Davies identified this as making him strongly want to please others, which led him to shoplift for schoolmates, and play the joker at home. Winston Alexander Watts (born 8 December 1967) is a member of the Jamaica national bobsleigh team. He has competed in four Olympics, most recently the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Watts has five children - Neecia Watts, Remonia Watts, Romain Watts, Shauna Kaye Watts, and Winston Watts Jr. Olympics Watts first appearance at the Winter Olympics came during the 1994 Games held in Lillehammer, Norway. Competing in the four-man event alongside teammates Dudley Stokes, Nelson Stokes and Wayne Thomas, Watts finished in 14th position in a time of 3 minutes 29.96 seconds. Mark Watson
Mark Andrew Watson (born 13 February 1980) is a British comedian and novelist. Early life Watson was born in Bristol to a Welsh mother and English father. He has younger twin sisters and a brother, Paul. He attended Bristol Grammar School, where he won a "Gabbler of the Year" award. He went on to study English at Queens' College, Cambridge, graduating with first class honours. At university he was a member of the Footlights and contemporary of Stefan Golaszewski, Tim Key and Dan Stevens. Stephen Cram, (born 14 October 1960) is a British retired track and field athlete. Along with fellow Britons Sebastian Coe and Steve Ovett, he was one of the world's dominant middle distance runners during the 1980s. Nicknamed "The Jarrow Arrow", after his home town, Cram set world records in the 1,500 m, 2,000 m, and the mile during a 19-day period in the summer of 1985. He was the first man to run 1,500 m under 3 minutes and 30 seconds. He won the 1 500 m gold medal at the 1983 World Championships and the 1,500 m silver medal at the 1984 Olympic Games.
