Alan C. Fox (born June 30, 1944) is a ''New York Times''-bestselling author, and founder of the Rattle Poetry Journal. He is also president and founder of ACF Property Management, a commercial real estate company based in Studio City, California, and an active philanthropist. ''The New York Times'' Best Seller list is widely considered the preeminent list of best-selling books in the United States. Since October 12, 1931, ''The New York Times Book Review'' has published the list weekly. Anis Mojgani
Anis Mojgani (Persian: انیس مژگانی) (born June 13, 1977) is an American spoken word poet, visual artist and musician based in Portland, Oregon. Mojgani has been characterized as a "geek genius" with "fiercely hopeful word arias." Early life and education Mojgani was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He later moved to Georgia and graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in sequential art and a Master of Fine Arts in performing arts. Career Over the course of his career, Mojgani has been a member of several poetry slam teams. He was also a member of 2007's Solomon Sparrow's Electric Whale Revival and 2008's Junkyard Ghost Revival, both of which featured poets Buddy Wakefield and Derrick C. Brown as actively-touring members. Fred Fox (musician)
Fred Fox (July 14, 1914 – May 21, 2019) was an American French horn player, brass instrument teacher, and namesake of the University of Arizona Fred Fox School of Music. Musician Fred Fox attended the Juilliard School in the early 1930s, where he also played with the New York Philharmonic, conducted by Arturo Toscanini, and performed as solo French horn player with the National Symphony Orchestra (1931–32). In 1934, Fox left Juilliard to play with the Minneapolis Symphony, and then at the age of 21, he moved to California to join the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Fox spent the rest of his career in Los Angeles, touring with Xavier Cugat (1954), Stan Kenton (1956), and the Roger Wagner Chorale (1965), and playing on the soundtracks of many motion picture films for both Paramount Pictures and RKO Pictures, including ''The Flight of the Phoenix'' and ''Patton''. Patricia Smith (born 1955) is an American poet, spoken-word performer, playwright, author, writing teacher, and former journalist.
