Alan Banaszek (born 30 October 1997) is a Polish cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam . His cousins Adrian Banaszek and Norbert Banaszek are also professional cyclists with the team. 2017 UEC European Track Championships
The 2017 UEC European Track Championships was the eight edition of the elite UEC European Track Championships in track cycling and took place at the Velodrom in Berlin, Germany, between 19 and 22 October 2017. The event was organised by the European Cycling Union. All European champions were awarded the UEC European Champion jersey which could have been worn by the champion throughout the year when competing in the same event at other competitions. The 12 Olympic events (sprint, team sprint, team pursuit, keirin, madison and omnium for men and women), as well as 11 other events were on the program for these European Championships. 2016 UCI Road World Championships
The 2016 UCI Road World Championships took place in Doha, Qatar, in October 2016. The championships was moved from the traditional September to October to avoid extreme hot and blustery weather. The event consisted of a road race, a team time trial and a time trial for elite men and women and a road race and a time trial for men under-23, junior men and junior women. It was the 89th Road World Championships and the first time that Qatar and the Middle East hosted the championships. Bidding Qatar was announced as the host during the 2012 UCI Road World Championships in the Netherlands. Norway also made a bid but was unsuccessful. Norway will now be the host of the 2017 UCI Road World Championships. Tour Of Bulgaria
The Tour of Bulgaria is an annual international professional bicycle race held in Bulgaria that was first staged on 21 August 1924. It is part of UCI Europe Tour and is category 2.2. The race covers about 1,500 kilometres and lasts two weeks. As of 2017, 66 editions were held. The longest length of the race was in 1949 – 1905 km. The course changes every year, but the race has always started in Sofia. In the race, cyclists from more than 40 countries have been competing. During the Cold War, the Tour of Bulgaria was one of the most prestigious cycling races in Europe, drawing skilled cyclists from the countries that traditionally produce strong racers, such as Italy, France and Netherlands. Nokere Koerse is a European semi classic single day cycle race held in the Belgian region of Flanders. Since 2005, the race has been organized as a 1.1 event on the UCI Europe Tour.
