She participated in many Egyptian movies and songs. She was among the first Arabic singers to perform at the Olympia, Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall, and the Sydney Opera House. Ragheb Alama ( ar, راغب علامة born 7 June 1962) is a Lebanese singer, dancer, composer, television personality, and philanthropist. Alama began his career in the 1980s when he appeared as a contestant on the talent show broadcast Studio El Fan, on which he received the Platinum Award. Latifa Bint Alaya El Arfaoui ( ar, لطيفة بنت عليه العرفاوي  pronunciation: ; born February 14, 1961), better known as Latifa ( ar, لطيفة), is a Tunisian pop singer and former actress who resides in Egypt. She is known for her Egyptian Arabic genre. Early life Latifa Bint Alaya El Arfaoui was born in Manouba, Tunisia. In 1983, shortly after her father died, Latifa and her family took a trip to Egypt to rest and mourn. While there, she met composer Baligh Hamdi, who advised her to move to Egypt to benefit her career. However Latifa wanted to concentrate on her education, and returned to Tunisia to finish her high school final exams. For financial reasons, she was unable to return to Egypt, so attended college in Tunisia, studying Dutch literature for a year and a half. Issam Rajji
Issam Rajji ( ar, عصام رجي) (born 1944 in Kfarshima, died 2001 Lebanon) was a Lebanese singer lyricist and composer most prominent during the 1970s and 80s period. Biography Early life Issam Rajji began his artistic career, working backstage for the television program "Art is Two Hobbies". He was later introduced to the Rahbani brothers and worked with them in the choir. In 1965, the Lebanese artist Romeo Lahoud starred alongside him in the play "Mawal", as a supporting actor. After starring in first official play performance, he later star in more than 25 theatrical and musical works. Later life Rajji went to Jordan for a while during the Lebanese civil war and married a Jordanian woman Nawal Elias and had three children with her Layal, Rami and Sariya.
