Alabam is an unincorporated community in Madison County, Arkansas, United States. The community is located on Arkansas Highway 127, approximately six miles northeast of Huntsville. The community of Old Alabam is about one mile south at the intersection of Highway 127 and U.S. Route 412. Highway 127 (AR 127, Ark. 127, and Hwy. 127) is a designation for four state highways in Northwest Arkansas. One route of begins at Madison County Road 3345 (CR 3345) and runs northwest to Highway 23 at Aurora. A second route of begins at US Highway 412 (US 412) at Old Alabam and runs north to Highway 23 at Forum. A third route of begins at Highway 12 and runs north to Highway 12 near Clifty. A fourth route of begins at Lost Bridge Village and runs north to US Highway 62 in Garfield. Kings River (Arkansas)
The Kings River is a tributary of the White River. It rises in the Boston Mountains of Arkansas and flows northward for more than 90 miles into Table Rock Lake in Missouri. The Arkansas portion of the river is undammed and bordered by rural and forested land, the river is popular for paddling and sport fishing. Course The highest sources of the Kings River are at an elevation of more than on the north slope of the Boston Mountains in the Ozark National Forest.
