Al Kerth
Alfred Henry "Al" Kerth III (January 21, 1952 - September 11, 2002) was a St. Louis civic leader and public relations executive. His projects included bringing the St. Louis Rams NFL team to St. Louis, the St. Louis MetroLink light rail public transit system, St. Louis 2004, Forest Park Forever, the X Prize, Civic Progress, the Scottrade Center, and the Edward Jones Dome. He also served on the boards of numerous civic groups, including the United Way, The Salvation Army, Laumeier Sculpture Park, Area Resources for Community and Human Services, and Forest Park Forever. Life Kerth, a member of the fifth generation of the Kerth family of Saint Louis, received a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Missouri–St. Louis and a master's degree in urban studies from Occidental College in Los Angeles. Scottrade Center
The Enterprise Center is an 18,096-seat arena located in downtown St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Its primary tenant is the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League, but it is also used for other functions, such as NCAA basketball, NCAA hockey, concerts, professional wrestling and more. In a typical year, the facility hosts about 175 events. Industry trade publication Pollstar has previously ranked Enterprise Center among the top ten arenas worldwide in tickets sold to non-team events, but the facility has since fallen into the upper sixties, as of 2017. Edward Jones Dome
The Dome at America's Center is a multi-purpose stadium used for concerts, major conventions, and sporting events in Downtown St. Louis, downtown St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Previously known as the Trans World Dome from 1995 to 2001 and the Edward Jones Dome from 2002 to 2016, it was constructed largely to lure a National Football League (NFL) team back to St. Louis and to serve as a convention space. The Dome received its initial main tenant with the arrival of the NFL's St. Louis Rams, who relocated to the city in 1995 NFL season, 1995. John Danforth
John Claggett Danforth (born September 5, 1936) is an American politician, attorney and diplomat who began his career in 1968 as the Attorney General of Missouri and served three terms as United States Senator from Missouri. In 2004, he served briefly as United States Ambassador to the United Nations. Danforth is an ordained Episcopal priest. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Danforth graduated from Princeton University and Yale University. George W. Bush considered selecting him as a vice-presidential running mate in 2000.
