Al-Jaish Sports Club ( ar, نادي الجيش الرياضي, lit=''Army Sports Club'') is an Iraqi sports club based in Baghdad. The football team has won the Iraqi Premier League once in its history, back in 1984. For the 2008/09 season Al Jaish will play in the Iraq Division One as they were relegated from the Iraqi Premier League the season before. The tournament was won by Al-Rasheed for the first time, beating Al-Jaish 4–3 on penalties in the final after a 1–1 draw. Al-Rasheed also won the 1986–87 Iraqi National League to complete the double. Wojciech Przybylski
Wojciech Wiesław Przybylski (7 August 1939 – 8 January 2021) was a Polish sports and political activist, and a former football player and manager. Early years In 1953 Przybylski started to get involved with his local football team, Unia Wąbrzeźno. From 1954–56, Przybylski was involved with the "Association of Black Scouts of Toruń" ( pl, toruńskiego Związku Czarnych Skautów) an illegal anti-communist organization. In 1959 he graduated from his high school in Wąbrzeźno. Football Przybylski had a professional footballing career which lasted until 1968. He played for Pomorzanin Toruń, AZS Warszawa and Broń Radom. After his playing days Przybylski went into coaching and management from 1971–1983, initially working at three teams with all three teams being in the Tricity area of Poland. Hakeem Shaker ( ar, حكيم شاكر; born 7 January 1963 in Baghdad, Iraq), is a former Iraqi football player and manager. At some point between late 2012 and early 2013, Hakeem was the first and only Iraqi coach to manage three Iraqi national teams (Iraq senior team, Olympic team and Youth team) at the same time. Coaching career Iraq U-20 In 2011 Hakeem Shaker was appointed as Iraq U-20 coach and he led Iraq to qualify to the 2012 AFC U-19 Championship finals without any loss in the qualifications and reached the 2012 AFC U-19 Championship final undefeated, only to lose to South Korea on Penalty kicks 1-4 after 1–1 draw, leading Iraq to qualify to the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey. The Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation (RSSSF) is an international organization dedicated to collecting statistics about association football. Rovers Cup
The Rovers Cup was an annual football tournament held in India, organized by the Western India Football Association. It was the second oldest tournament in India after Durand Cup. History Rovers Cup was incorporated by some British football enthusiasts in Bombay, Bombay Presidency, in 1890, as a form of amusement. After the foundation of Bombay Football Association (BFA) in 1902, the tournament became well organized. Patronised by Justice Russell, the tournament was firstly opened to British teams. Later in 1911, Western India Football Association was founded as a result of merger between BFA and Rovers Cup Committee. After justice Russel became president and P. R. The 1994–95 Iraq FA Cup was the 18th edition of the Iraq FA Cup as a clubs-only competition. The tournament was won by Al-Zawraa for the third consecutive time and the tenth time in their history, beating Al-Jaish 3–0 in the final. The previous rounds saw Al-Zawraa beat Samarra 3–1, Diyala 3–0, Al-Karkh 4–2, Al-Shorta 3–0 and Al-Ramadi on penalties in the semi-finals at Al-Shaab Stadium on 17 April 1995. Al-Jaish reached the final by beating Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya 1–0 on the same day at Al-Kashafa Stadium. Al-Zawraa also won the 1994–95 Iraqi National League to complete their second double in a row. The 1978–79 Iraq FA Cup was the third edition of the Iraq FA Cup as a clubs-only competition. The tournament was won by Al-Zawraa, beating Al-Jaish 3–1 in the final on 3 May 1979 to secure their second cup, with goals from Hazem Jassam, Ibrahim Ali and Thamir Yousef. Al-Zawraa's previous matches in the tournament were a 7–0 win over Al-Hurriya, a 3–1 win over Al-Ittihad, a 4–0 win over Al-Shorta and a 6–0 win over Al-Shabab, while Al-Jaish had eliminated Al-Tayaran from the semi-finals who in turn had beaten Al-Minaa in the quarter-finals.
