Al Ghurabaa
Al Ghurabaa ( ar, الغرباء; English: The Strangers) is a Muslim organization which, along with The Saviour Sect, Islam4UK and others, is widely believed to be the reformed Al-Muhajiroun after it disbanded in 2004 by order of Omar Bakri Muhammad. Other members include Abu Izzadeen and Abu Uzair. On 17 July 2006 the group was proscribed under legislation in Britain outlawing organizations that support terrorism. Home Secretary John Reid laid an order in Parliament which makes it a criminal offence for a person to belong to or encourage support for the group, to arrange meetings in its support, or to wear clothes or carry articles in public indicating support or membership. The name of the group is derived from a hadith (or tradition) ascribed to Muhammad, "Islam began as something strange and will end as something strange...so give glad tidings to the strangers." Al-Ghurabaa
Ghuraba or Al-Ghurabaa ( ''al-Ghurabā’'') is an Islamic eschatological epithet mentioned in the hadith that vicariously describes the manner in which upright Muslims are perceived by the wider society. The term ''Ghuraba'' literally means ''strange'' or ''weird''. Overview The most authentic hadith collection that discusses the ''Ghuraba'' in detail is Sahih Muslim. Omar Bakri Mohammed
Omar Bakri Muhammad ( ar, عمر بکری محمد; born Omar Bakri Fostock; 1958) is a Syrian Islamist militant leader born in Aleppo. He was instrumental in developing Hizb ut-Tahrir in the United Kingdom before leaving the group and heading to another Islamist organisation, Al-Muhajiroun, until its disbandment in 2004. For several years, Bakri was one of the most high-profile Islamists based in London and was frequently quoted and interviewed in the UK media. Ayman Al-Zawahiri
Ayman Mohammed Rabie al-Zawahiri (June 19, 1951 – July 31, 2022) was an Egyptian-born terrorist and physician who served as the second emir of al-Qaeda from June 16, 2011, until his death. Al-Zawahiri graduated from Cairo University with a degree in medicine and a master's degree in surgery and was a surgeon by profession. He became a leading figure in the Egyptian Islamic Jihad, an Egyptian Islamist organization, and eventually attained the rank of emir. Al-Muhajiroun ( ar, المهاجرون, "The Emigrants") is a proscribed militant network based in Saudi Arabia. The founder of the group was Omar Bakri Muhammad, a Syrian who previously belonged to ''Hizb ut-Tahrir''; he was not permitted to re-enter Britain after 2005.
