Tony Fulilangi
Tony Fulilangi (born March 25, 1960) is a former heavyweight boxer from Tonga. He has fought Bert Cooper, and Jimmy Young. He also once fought George Foreman. He is also a boxing coach and has coached Paea Wolfgramm. Background Fulilangi was born Sonatane Fulilangi in Tonga. Prior to his career Fulilangi attended Brigham Young University in Hawaii where he had been offered a track and field scholarship. He dropped out and didn't do much of anything for a couple of years until he decided to go to Phoenix to visit his brother. He went to a boxing gym there and punched the coach. After that he went to Al Fenn's gym and had a bit of similar trouble there when sparring with a former Golden Glove champion. His first amateur fights were all won by knockout before the second round had finished. Fulilangi's change from an amateur boxer to pro came about when he went to Hawaii to visit his sister. George Foreman
George Edward Foreman (born January 10, 1949) is an American former professional boxer, entrepreneur, minister and author. In boxing, he was nicknamed "Big George" and competed between 1967 and 1997. He is a two-time world heavyweight champion and an Olympic gold medalist. As an entrepreneur, he is known for the George Foreman Grill. After a troubled childhood, Foreman took up amateur boxing and won a gold medal in the heavyweight division at the 1968 Summer Olympics. Having turned professional the next year, he won the world heavyweight title with a stunning second-round knockout of then-undefeated Joe Frazier in 1973. Zora Folley
Zora "Bell" Folley (May 27, 1931 – July 7, 1972) was a mid-20th century American heavyweight boxer, known for his defensive game and punching ability. Early life Born in Dallas, Texas on 27 May 1931, Folley moved with his family to Chandler, Arizona in 1942, where he grew up playing baseball. Upon joining the U.S. Army in 1948, he began boxing and won the 6th Army Championship within a year, going on to win the All-Army and All-Service titles. He saw active service during the Korean War, earning five battle stars, and was discharged from the U.S. Army with the rank of Sergeant in 1953. Boxing career In the mid-1950s Folley signed a professional boxing contract, winning his first pro-fight against Jimmy Ingram, then after a draw, won seventeen straight victories until losing to Johnny Summerlin in six rounds with a suspected broken jaw after being knocked down three times.
