Al-Masrab
Al-Masrab ( ar, المسرب, also spelled al-Musareb or el-Mesereb) is a village in eastern Syria, administratively part of the Deir ez-Zor Governorate, located along the Euphrates River, northwest of Deir ez-Zor. Nearby localities include al-Tabni to the northwest, al-Harmushiyah to the north, al-Kasrah to the northeast, al-Saawah to the east and al-Shumaytiyah to the southeast. Syria is a unitary state, but for administrative purposes, it is divided into fourteen governorates, also called provinces or counties in English (Arabic ''muḥāfaẓāt'', singular '' muḥāfaẓah''). Eastern European Summer Time (EEST) is one of the names of the UTC+03:00 time zone, which is 3 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time.
