Al-Ittihad Saudi Arabian Club ( ar, نادي الإتحاد العربي السعودي), referred to as Al-Ittihad, is a professional football club based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, founded in 1927. The club has spent its entire history in the top flight of football in Saudi Arabia, currently known as the Saudi Professional League. Al-Ittihad matches are played at its main stadium in King Abdullah Sports City, is the second-largest stadium in Saudi Arabia, which has a capacity of 62,000 spectators. Al-Ittihad Sports Club of Aleppo ( ar, نادي الاتحاد الرياضي الحلبي) is a professional multi-sports club based in the Syrian city of Aleppo, mostly known for its football team which competes in the Syrian Premier League, the top league of Syrian football. Being one of the most successful clubs (after Al-Jaish, Al-Karamah SC) in Syrian football history, Al-Ittihad won six Syrian football league titles and ten Syrian cups. Al-Ittihad is a sole founding member of Syrian Premier League that has never been relegated from the top division since its debut in 1966. Al-Ittihad Sport Club ( ar, نادي الاتحاد الرياضي), is an Iraqi football team based in Al-Ashar, Basra, that plays in Iraq Division Three. History Foundation and early years Al-Ittihad was founded in 1937 in the Al-Bachhari district in the name of the Royal Al-Ittihad Sport Club, and it was the first administrative body headed by Nadhum Majeed. Al-Ittihad ( ar, الاتحاد meaning "the Union") is a Palestinian town in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate, created in 1997 as a merger of three towns Beitillu, Deir 'Ammar and Jammala. ''Al-Ittihad'' () also known as ''Al-Ittihad al-Lubnani'' (The Lebanese Union) was a Lebanese newspaper established in 2017. It was published in Arabic with both a print and online site that offered a pdf issue of the actual print issues. The original licence for ''Al-Ittihad'' was given to the journalist Zeidan Zeidan almost a hundred years earlier, but the newspaper had not been published for a long time. Al-Gharafa Sports Club ( ar, نادي الغرافة الرياضي) is a Qatari multisports club based in the Al Gharrafa district of Al Rayyan.
