''Aktuel Naturvidenskab'' (lit.: ''Current Science'') is a Danish language popular science magazine published in Aarhus, Denmark. Profile ''Aktuel Naturvidenskab'' is published by the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Aarhus in cooperation with Danish universities and institutions. It mostly provides news and in-depth articles on natural sciences, and it is one of the media partners of ScienceNordic. In 2011, the magazine expanded its digital version, and now maintains an on-line digital archive of all published articles. The archive is public and free to use for non-commercial purposes. List Of Magazines In Denmark
In Denmark there are various magazines with different frequency types, including weekly magazines, monthly magazines and quarterly magazines. As in other Nordic countries, the national consumer organizations publish their magazines in Denmark. In 2007, there were nearly 68 consumer magazines in the country which were mostly owned by Danish media groups. Of them 52 were monthly/quarterly whereas 16 were weekly. These magazines were grouped into four main categories: general-interest magazines, opinion magazines, TV and radio guides, and professional and scientific magazines. Aarhus University ( da, Aarhus Universitet, abbreviated AU) is a public research university with its main campus located in Aarhus, Denmark. Natural science is one of the branches of science concerned with the description, understanding and prediction of natural phenomena, based on empirical evidence from observation and experimentation. ''Popular Science'' (also known as ''PopSci'') is an American digital magazine carrying popular science content, which refers to articles for the general reader on science and technology subjects. ''Popular Science'' has won over 58 awards, including the American Society of Magazine Editors awards for its journalistic excellence in 2003 (for General Excellence), 2004 (for Best Magazine Section), and 2019 (for Single-Topic Issue).
