Alexander James Atkisson (born October 19, 1993), known by his ring name Akira (stylised in all caps as AKIRA), is an American professional wrestler. He is currently signed to Major League Wrestling, where he is a former MLW World Tag Team Champion and a former MLW World Middleweight Champion. Professional wrestling career Game Changer Wrestling (2021–present) On October 9, 2021, at GCW Fight Club, Akira teamed up with Alex Colon and G-Raver and faced The Second Gear Crew (AJ Gray, Mance Warner and Matthew Justice) in a losing effort. Raven's Flock was a professional wrestling stable led by Raven that was present in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) between 1995 and 1997. John R. Rivera (born October 28, 1982) is a Puerto Rican-American professional wrestler and former mixed martial artist. He is currently signed non-exclusively to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), better known by his ring name Rocky Romero (ロッキー・ロメロ ''Rokkī Romero''). The NWA World Historic Welterweight Championship (''Campeonato Mundial Historico de Peso Welter de la NWA'' in Spanish) is a professional wrestling championship governed by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). CMLL had held the NWA World Welterweight Championship for over 53 years even after leaving the NWA in 1989. In 2010 the National Wrestling Alliance, represented by Blue Demon Jr., the president of NWA Mexico, sent letters to CMLL telling them to stop promoting NWA-branded championships since CMLL was not part of the NWA any longer.
