Fujiwara No Akimitsu
was a Japanese Heian period bureaucrat, who held the post of ''Sadaijin'' (Minister of the Left). His father was Fujiwara no Kanemichi. Akimitsu is known for having been involved in a strange set of circumstances regarding his daughter, En-shi. En-shi was married to the Emperor's son, Imperial Prince Atsuakira (敦明親王) (later, Ko-Ichijō In, 小一条院). When Imperial Prince Atsuakira chose to take on a daughter of Fujiwara no Michinaga as a second wife in return for declination from Crown Prince, En-shi grew spiteful and turned to Akimitsu for help. She died soon afterwards of grief, and Akimitsu is said to have asked an onmyoji named Ashiya Dōman Ashiya Dōman (ja. 蘆屋道満, spelled also 芦屋道満), also known as Dōma Hōshi (道摩法師) was an onmyōji who lived during the Heian period, in the reign of the Emperor Ichijō. Ishikawa Akimitsu
, also known as Jirō (次郎) or by his court title, Yamato no Kami (大和守), was a Japanese samurai of the Sengoku period through early Edo period. He served the Date clan of Sendai han during the tenure of its lord Masamune. Akimitsu was born in 1550, the fourth son of Date Harumune. His siblings included Rusu Masakage and Date Terumune, Masamune's father. After the destruction of the Ashina clan in Tenshō 17 (1589), he came under Masamune's command. Akimitsu Takagi
, was the pen-name of a popular Japanese crime fiction writer active during the Shōwa period of Japan. His real name was Takagi Seiichi. Biography Takagi was born in Aomori City in Aomori Prefecture in northern Japan. He graduated from the Daiichi High School (which was often abbreviated to ''Ichi-ko'') and Kyoto Imperial University, where he studied metallurgy. He was employed by the Nakajima Aircraft Company, but lost his job with the prohibition on military industries in Japan after World War II. On the recommendation of a fortune-teller, he decided to become a writer. He sent the second draft of his first detective story, '' The Tattoo Murder Case'', to the great mystery writer Edogawa Ranpo, who recognized his skill and who recommended it to a publisher.
