Akeem Scott
Akeem Wayne Byron Scott ([born September 2, 1983) is an American basketball player who last played for RANS Simba Bogor, RANS PIK Basketball of the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL). He plays for the Jamaica national basketball team. Early life A native of Harlem, Scott starred at Gar-Field Senior High School in Woodbridge, Virginia. He attended Garrett College for two years, earning All-American honors, before transferring to High Point University, High Point ahead of his junior season. Professional career Scott began his professional career with Finnish club Korihait in 2006 and averaged 17.3 points, 1.7 assists and 2.1 steals per game. Venados de Mazatlán ( en, Mazatlán Deer) are a professional baseball team in the Mexican Pacific League based in Mazatlan, Sinaloa. The Centrobasket is a FIBA-sponsored international basketball tournament where national teams from Central America and the Caribbean participate. These countries make up the Central American and Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CONCENCABA). 2023 IBL Indonesia
The 2023 Indonesian Basketball League (or IBL Tokopedia for sponsorship reasons) is the eighth season of Indonesian top domestic basketball league since the re-branding by Starting5. This season marked the 20th Anniversary of the IBL indonesia since its establishment in 2003. From 2023, the divisions were abolished and therefore, each team has two matches against each other with total of 30 games per team (240 season games). The playoff teams will be selected from top 8 and the format is home and away. The Korisliiga is the top-tier professional basketball league in Finland, comprising the top 12 teams of the country. In its current format, each team plays all other teams two times in the regular season, once at home and once away, for a total of 22 regular season games. The top six teams advances continues to upper stage and the bottom six teams plays lower stage after 22 games, 5 games at home and 5 games at away versus all other teams in stage. The Basketball Circuit of the Pacific Coast ( or ''CIBACOPA'') is a basketball league based in Northwestern Mexico. As of 2018, it involves 10 clubs, primarily from northwest Mexico. The matches take place from March to June. History A league with the same name existed in the 1980s, and the second incarnation was founded in 2001. The charter members were Caballeros de Culiacán, Delfines de Mazatlán, Frayles de Guasave, Lobos Marinos de La Paz, Paisas de Los Cabos, and Pioneros de Los Mochis.
