Akeem Dodson
Akeem Levar Dodson (born September 6, 1987) is an American professional cricketer. From New York City, he made his senior debut for the American national team in 2008, having earlier played for the national under-19 side at the 2006 Under-19 World Cup. A right-handed wicket-keeper/batsman, Dodson has played regularly at international tournaments since making his debut, including at the 2013 and 2015 World Twenty20 Qualifiers. Junior career Dodson was born in Queens, New York, to a Guyanese father. Namibia National Under-19 Cricket Team
The Namibia national under-19 cricket team represents Namibia in under-19 international cricket. Namibia has won the ICC Africa Under-19 Championships a record number of times. Namibia has qualified for the Under-19 World Cup on eight occasions, more than any other associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC). The South African Under-19 cricket team have been playing official Under-19 test matches since 1995. International players to have represented the team include Wayne Parnell, Neil McKenzie, AB de Villiers, Mark Boucher, Makhaya Ntini, Kagiso Rabada, Andile Phehlukwayo and Aiden Markram. A One Day International (ODI) is a form of limited overs cricket, played between two teams with international status, in which each team faces a fixed number of overs, currently 50, with the game lasting up to 9 hours. The Cricket World Cup, generally held every four years, is played in this format. 2005 ICC Americas Under-19 Championship
The 2005 ICC Americas Under-19 Championship was an international cricket tournament held in King City, Ontario, from 8 to 13 August 2005. It was the third edition of the ICC Americas Under-19 Championship, and the second in a row to be held in Canada. The tournament featured five teams, the same as at the preceding 2003 edition, and the same format was used, a simple round-robin. The United States finished the tournament undefeated to win its first title, and consequently qualified for the 2006 Under-19 World Cup in Sri Lanka. The team had nearly been barred from playing, as part of proposed International Cricket Council (ICC) sanctions against the United States of America Cricket Association (USACA) for maladministration, but the situation was resolved the month before the tournament.
