2018 Pakistan Cup
The 2018 Pakistan Cup was the third edition of the Pakistan Cup, a List A cricket competition which was contested between five teams. It was held from 25 April to 6 May 2018, with all the matches played at the Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad. Federal Areas were the defending champions. Federal Areas were the first team to advance to the final, after they beat Punjab by 7 wickets. They were joined in the final with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, after the last group stage match, between Punjab and Sindh, finished as a tie. Federal Areas won the tournament, beating Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by five wickets in the final. 2020–21 Pakistan Cup
The 2020–21 Pakistan Cup was a List A cricket competition that took place in Karachi, Pakistan from 8 January to 31 January 2021. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were the defending champions after they beat Baluchistan. However, after the new domestic structure announced by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), six newly formed regional teams were formed. In December 2020, it was announced that Aaron Summers would play in the tournament, becoming the first Australian cricketer to play in a domestic cricket competition in Pakistan, after signing with Southern Punjab cricket team. Following the conclusion of the group stage, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northern and Central Punjab had all qualified for the semi-finals of the tournament. In the first semi-final, Central Punjab beat Sindh by 127 runs. The second semi-final, between Northern and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, ended in a tie, with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa winning the Super Over. Balochistan cricket team is a domestic cricket team in Pakistan representing Balochistan province. It competes in domestic first-class, List A and T20 cricket competitions, namely the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, Pakistan Cup and National T20 Cup. The team is operated by the Balochistan Cricket Association. History Before 2019 The Balochistan team was founded in 1954 and played its inaugural season in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in 1954. In 1954-55 Balochistan played one match in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, losing to Sind by 53 runs at the Racecourse Ground, Quetta. They were captained by Athar Khan, who made 36 and 57 and took two wickets. A combined Railways and Balochistan team played the MCC in Multan in 1955-56, losing by an innings.
