Akash Mishra ( hi, आकाश मिश्रा; born 27 November 2001) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a left back for Indian Super League club Mumbai City and the India national team. He won the 2022–23 AIFF Emerging Player of the Year award. Club career Early life and youth career Born in Uttar Pradesh, Akash began his football career by joining the U Dream Football Academy in 2015. He stayed at the U Dream Football Academy in Germany for three-years, and returned to India in 2018, when Indian Arrows came calling for Akash after he made it to the India U18 team. Indian Arrows Akash penned his first professional contract with I-League club Indian Arrows. 2018–19 I-League
The 2018–19 I-League was the 12th season of the I-League, the top Indian professional football league, since its establishment in 2007. The season started on 26 October 2018 and is scheduled to conclude in March 2019. Unlike the Indian Super League, the I-League did not take a mid-season break during the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. Minerva Punjab was the defending champions having won the previous season. Real Kashmir joined as a promoted club from the I-League 2nd Division. 2023–24 AFC Champions League
The 2023–24 AFC Champions League will be the 42nd edition of Asia's premier club association football, football tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and the 21st under the current AFC Champions League title. This season is the first to have an inter-year schedule from September (autumn-to-spring) instead of an intra-year schedule (spring-to-autumn) since the 2002–03 AFC Champions League, 2002–03 season. Vignesh Dakshinamurthy (born 5 March 1998) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Indian Super League club Odisha, on loan from Hyderabad. 2022 Durand Cup
The 2022 Durand Cup, also known as IndianOil Durand Cup due to sponsorship ties with Indian Oil Corporation, was the 131st edition of Durand Cup, the oldest football tournament in Asia, and also the first edition since it was recognised by the Asian Football Confederation. This year for the first time the tournament was played in more than one venue. The 2020–21 Indian Super League season was the seventh season of the Indian Super League (ISL) since its formation and the 25th season of the top division of the Indian football league system.
