Ajay Singh (diplomat)
Ajay Singh (15 August 1950 – 9 June 2020) was an Indian politician and diplomat. Early life Ajay Singh was born on 15 August 1950. His father Captain Bhagwan Singh, IAS (Rtd) was born in village Jaingara, Kerawli Tehsil, District Agra in Uttar Pradesh. After a distinguished career in the Army and the IAS (he belonged to the first batch of the Service), he retired as India's High Commissioner to Fiji, Tonga, Nauru and other Pacific Islands. His mother, Shanta Singh was born in Bharau village, Sadabad Tehsil, District Mathura in Uttar Pradesh. He has three sisters. Abha Singh, married to Karan Pal Singh, Vibha Singh, married to Maharaj Digvijay Sinh of Wankaner in Gujarat and younger sister Shubha Singh married to Yatinder Kumar. Manpreet Singh Badal (born 26 July 1962) is an Indian politician and leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is the former Second Amarinder Singh ministry, Finance Minister of Punjab. Bhupinder Singh Hooda (born 15 September 1947) is an Indian National Congress politician who is the current Leader of the Opposition in Haryana Legislative Assembly. Kunwar Natwar Singh, IFS (born 16 May 1931) is an Indian diplomat and politician who served as the Minister of External Affairs from May 2004 to December 2005. Balram Jakhar (23 August 1923 – 3 February 2016) was an Indian politician, who served as the Speaker of the Lok Sabha and Governor of Madhya Pradesh. Akhil Bhartiya JAT Mahasabha ( hi, अखिल भारतीय जाट महासभा) or ( hi, अखिल भारतीय जाट महासभा) is an organization of Jats in India. The organization was created to raise awareness about the social and economic problems faced by Jats. The Jat Mahasabha spearheaded the community's struggle for reservation in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections in 1999.
