Aitkul Samakova
Aitkul B. Samakova is a Kazakhstani politician, former member of parliament, and political scientist. She has been a representative to the Mazhilis and the Senate of Kazakhstan, and the First Deputy to the Kazakhstan Minister of Trade. Samakova was Kazakhstan's Minister of the Environment from 2002 to 2006. Early life and education Samakova was born on 2 February 1949 in Kazakhstan. In 1967, Samakova earned a technical degree at an Almaty polytechnic college. From 1967 until 1980, Samakova worked at a canning plant in Almaty, first as an engineer and then in management positions. In 1973 she earned another technical degree in Taraz, and then in 1983 she graduated from Kazakhstan's Higher Party School ( kk) with a degree in political science, followed by a law degree from Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University in 1999. The Daniyal Akhmetov Cabinet was the 6th government in Kazakhstan that was led by Daniyal Akhmetov. Tasmagambetov Cabinet
The Tasmagambetov Cabinet was the 5th government of Kazakhstan. Led by Prime Minister Imangali Tasmagambetov, it was formed on 28 January 2002 after his predecessor Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stepped down from his post along with his entire cabinet. President Nursultan Nazarbayev nominated Tasmagmabetov for office to which it was unanimously approved by the Parliament. Prior to that, Tasmagambetov served as the Deputy PM under Tokayev's cabinet.
