Aisha Retno
Sharifah Aisha Retno binti Sayed Sipulijam (born 1 August 2000) is a Malaysian singer-songwriter and actress. In 2020, Retno participated in the singing competition ''Vokal Mania''. She came to prominence in the Malaysian music industry after the release of her English-language single, "W.H.U.T", in late 2021/early 2022. In 2022, she was a contestant on season 4 of ''Big Stage,'' placing third overall. Personal life and education Retno was born to a mixed race of alayand Arab father and a Javanese mother. Her mother is the Indonesian kroncong singer, Jean Retno Aryani, who was active in the 1980s. Her father, Sayed Sipulijam Sayed Alwee, is a businessman from Kelantan. Astro Citra is a 24-hour Malay language version of HBO Asia, showing the local and Asian movies. The channel began broadcasting on 1 June 2009, replacing Astro Kirana (Channel 122) which ceased its broadcasting on 18 May 2009 due to low viewership. Astro Ria is a 24-hour Southeast Asia Bahasa Malaysia television channel exclusive to the Astro satellite television provider. It was one of the first 22 channels to be launched on Astro in 1996. Astro Ria offers a variety of shows including news, local and Indonesian dramas, movies, reality shows, sports, talk shows, cartoons, concerts, sitcoms, documentaries, cooking shows, quizzes and more. Channel changes were made from October 1, 2007, after Astro introduced a 3-digit channel.
