A sports coach is a person coaching in sport, involved in the direction, instruction and training of a sports team or athlete. History The original sense of the word ''coach'' is that of a horse-drawn carriage, deriving ultimately from the Hungarian city of Kocs where such vehicles were first made. Students at the University of Oxford in the early nineteenth century used the slang word to refer to a private tutor who would drive a less able student through his examinations just like horse driving. Sabile (; german: Zabeln) is a town in Talsi Municipality Talsi Municipality ( lv, Talsu novads) is a municipality in Courland, Latvia. The Latvia women's national basketball team is the national women's basketball team representing Latvia. It is administrated by the Latvian Basketball Association. It has participated in EuroBasket Women three times and once in the Olympic Games. George Dikeoulakos (or Dikaioulakos, el, Γιώργος (Τζώρτζης) Δικαιουλάκος; born 26 January 1969) is a professional Greek basketball coach. As a professional player As a player, Dikeoulakos played for Papagou B.C., Papagou in Greece and at the age of 19 became the first foreigner in Yugoslav history with the team of Kosovo Polje.
