Aigle Noir Athlétic Club (, English: ''Black Eagle'') commonly referred to as Aigle Noir, is a professional football club based in Bel Air, Port-au-Prince, Haiti. History The club was founded on 27 June 1951 as Aigle Noir ''Athlétique'' Club. Since, the 2010 Haiti earthquake, the club is currently playing in the Stade Sylvio Cator until their home field, Parc de la Paix, is rebuilt. Stade Sylvio Cator
The Stade Sylvio Cator is a multi-purpose stadium in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. It is currently used mostly for association football matches, and is turfed with artificial turf. History The stadium bears the name of Haitian Olympic medalist and footballer Sylvio Cator. It was named after him in 1952. Before then the stadium was called the ''Parc Leconte''. and then the ''Stade Paul-Magloire''. It is where the Haiti national football team play its home games. It has hosted the 1973 CONCACAF Championship, where the home team were crowned as champions and the 1991 CONCACAF Women's Championship where the final match between the USA and Canada reached overcapacity of 30,000. The stadium was partly destroyed by the earthquake in Haiti in January 2010, and a tent-city sprouted within its confines. 2006–07 CFU Club Championship
The 2006 CFU Club Championship is the annual international football club competition held in the Caribbean Football Union/CFU region (Caribbean). The Caribbean Tournament Champion will qualify to the 2007 CONCACAF Champions Cup. The CFU changed the home-away format for this tournament to four group stages at Caribbean sites. Fourteen teams will compete for the Caribbean berth to the CONCACAF Champions' Cup. The first round of the 2006 Caribbean Football Union Tournament consisted of two groups of four teams along with two triangulars which took place between November 30 and December 14, 2006. The first round group winners advanced to the semifinals, to be completed before January 26, 2007, at a venue of one of the semifinalist clubs. CFU Club Championship
The Caribbean Club Championship, also known as the CFU Club Championship or CFU Club Champions' Cup, was an annual international football competition held amongst association football clubs that are members of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU). The Caribbean Club Championship served as a qualifying event for the CONCACAF Champions League tournament. The tournament was officially the Flow CONCACAF Caribbean Club Championship for sponsorship reasons from 2018 to 2022. With the expansion of the CONCACAF Champions League starting from the 2024 edition, the 2022 edition of the Caribbean Club Championship was the last held. Instead, a regional cup tournament will be launched as a qualifying tournament of the CONCACAF Champions League for teams from the Caribbean, besides those which qualify directly through their professional leagues. The 1984 CONCACAF Champions' Cup was the 20th edition of the CONCACAF Champions' Cup, the annual international club association football competition held in the CONCACAF region (North America, Central America and the Caribbean). It determined that year's club champion in the CONCACAF region and was played from 15 March to 21 October 1984. The teams were split in two zones, North/Central America and Caribbean, (as North and Central America sections combined to qualify one team for the final), each one qualifying the winner to the final tournament. The 1971 CONCACAF Champions' Cup was the 7th edition of the annual international club football competition held in the CONCACAF region (North America, Central America and the Caribbean), the CONCACAF Champions' Cup. It determined that year's club champion of association football in the CONCACAF region. It was played from 22 August 1971 till 19 April 1972 under the home/away match system. The teams were split into 3 zones (North American, Central American and Caribbean), each one qualifying two teams to the final tournament, played for the first time in a group system. After the end of the group, a playoff match had to be played because two teams ended with the same points in the lead of the group.
