Ahuntsic Railway Station
Ahuntsic station is a former intercity railway station in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was an unstaffed shelter that served as an optional stop for two Via Rail routes running from Montreal. It was located on Durham Avenue, near the Sauvé metro station; the RTM Mascouche commuter rail line stops at the Sauvé station nearby. On July 3, 2017, Via Rail ceased serving Ahuntsic and L'Assomption stations, and began serving Sauvé and Anjou stations instead. Ahuntsic-Cartierville
Ahuntsic-Cartierville ( (local accent)) is a borough (''arrondissement'') of the city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The borough was created following the 2002 municipal reorganization of Montreal. It comprises two main neighbourhoods, Ahuntsic, a former village annexed to Montreal in 1910 and Cartierville, a town annexed to Montreal in 1916. Ahuntsic-Cartierville is located in the north end of Montreal, on the banks of the Rivière des Prairies. Sauvé station is an intermodal transit station in the borough of Ahuntsic-Cartierville in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The Montreal Metro station is operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) and serves the Orange Line. It is located in the Ahuntsic district. The station opened October 14, 1966, as part of the original network of the Metro. Just south of the station on Berri Street, is the Canadian National railway line, which carries the Réseau de transport métropolitain's (RTM) Mascouche commuter and Via Rail intercity trains. The Sauvé commuter rail station is connected to these corridors, and replaces the nearby Via Rail Ahuntsic station. Mascouche (also designated exo5, known during planning as Repentigny–Mascouche) is a commuter railway line in Greater Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is operated by Exo, the organization that operates public transport services across this region. Opened on December 1, 2014, by Exo's predecessor agency, the Agence Métropolitaine de transport (AMT), the Montreal region's sixth commuter train line required the construction of 10 new train stations, several civil engineering structures and 13 km of new railway track.
