Ahsan H. Mansur
Ahsan H. Mansur is a Bangladeshi economist and director of Policy Research Institute of Bangladesh. He is the chairman of BRAC Bank Limited. He is an independent director of Walton. Early life Mansur completed his bachelor's in Economics from the University of Dhaka in 1974. He became a lecturer at the University of Dhaka in 1976. He completed his Masters in economics from McMaster University in 1977. He did his PhD from the University of Western Ontario in 1982. Career Mansur joined the International Monetary Fund in 1981. He worked at the Fiscal Affairs Department of the International Monetary Fund from 1983 to 1989. From 1991 to 1995, Mansur served in the Policy Development and Review Department and the Middle Eastern Department of the International Monetary Fund. Wahidul Haq
Wahidul Haque ( – 3 July 2020) was the Finance Minister of Bangladesh. He was also an emeritus professor at the University of Toronto, Canada. Career Haq completed his master's degree at University of Dhaka in 1955 and did his PhD at Stanford University in California, USA. He was professor of economics at Islamabad University in 1969. He has taught at Dhaka University. Sir Fazle Hasan Abed ( bn, ফজলে হাসান আবেদ; 27 April 1936 – 20 December 2019) was the founder of BRAC, one of the world's largest non-governmental organizations. Early life Abed was born on 27 April 1936 in the village of Baniachong, located in what is present-day Habiganj District, Sylhet, Bangladesh. He belonged to a Bengali Muslim family of Zamindars, known as the Hasan family, and was one of eight children of Siddiq Hasan and Syeda Sufia Khatun.
