Ahmed Shakir
Ahmed Shakir (born 4 September 1991) is a Maldivian actor and editor. He initial worked with the Dark Rain Entertainment team in technical department, prior to starring in small roles from the production company including the romantic comedies ''Vaashey Mashaa Ekee'' (2016), ''Mee Loaybakee'' (2017) and ''Vakin Loabin'' (2018). He had his breakthrough performance in another production from Dark Rain Entertainment, the comedy film ''Maamui'' (2019) in which he portrayed a dangerous gangster. Following this success, he continued working in several web series including the comedy sitcom ''Rumi á Jannat'', the romantic comedy ''Giritee Loabi'' and the revenge thriller anthology ''Dark Rain Chronicles''. Hindhukolheh
''Hindhukolheh'' (lit: moment) is a 2023 Maldivian film written by Ahmed Tholah and directed by Ali Shifau. Produced by Mohamed Ali and Aishath Fuad Thaufeeq under Dark Rain Entertainment, the film stars Sharaf Abdulla and Aminath Rashfa in pivotal roles. Plot Imran is in love with one of his coworkers Kiara but Kiara is in a relationship with their married boss Shaahid aka Shaadu. Im an event which Shaadu promise would be for him and Kiara, Shaadu's wife Niyaza crash the party causing Kiara to lose her mind and act weird among other coworkers. Others mock Kiara whereas Imran stand by her. The office Staffs gossip about Kiara and Shaadu which make Imran furious. Imran's friend Miadh advice him to forget Kiara and move on. Mohamed Faisal (actor)
Mohamed Faisal is a Maldivian film actor, editor and director. Career Faisal made his film debut with the romantic film ''Loaiybahtakaa'' (2009), written and directed by Yoosuf Shafeeu in which he stars as businessman from a wealthy family struggling to express his feelings. The romantic drama, co-starring Sheela Najeeb, Fathimath Fareela and Yoosuf Shafeeu, tells the story of unrequited love, and proved to be a commercial success. His performance in the film garnered him a nomination at 1st Maldives Film Awards ceremony. This was followed by Ali Shifau-directed family drama ''Dhin Veynuge Hithaamaigaa'' (2010) which showcases discrimination against the islanders, family revenge and fatherhood responsibilities. Ahmed Sinan
Ahmed Sinan (born 19 March 1990) is a Maldivian director, graphic designer, cinematographer and editor. Career Ahmed Sinan made his career debut with Dark Rain Entertainment's production, '' Happy Birthday'' (2009) by working as the title animator and creating visual effects. He was then offered to make title animations and visual effects for films produced under several studios. Sinan's most recognized work came in 2013, Ali Shifau-directed horror film ''Fathis Handhuvaruge Feshun 3D'' which serves as a prequel to ''Fathis Handhuvaru'' (1997) starring Reeko Moosa Manik and Niuma Mohamed in lead roles. The film was marketed as being the first 3D release for a Maldivian film and the first release derived from spin-off. Using a single laptop and working on a daily basis all by himself, the project took him two months to be completed. Ravee Farooq
Ravee Farooq is a Maldivian actor, director, editor and choreographer. Career Farooq made his film debut with Abdul Faththaah-directed romantic disaster film, '' Hureemey Inthizaarugaa'' (2005) cast along with Mariyam Zuhura, Waleedha Waleed, Ibrahim Jihad and Neena Saleem. The film, heavily relied on the effect of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake on the Maldives, received favorable reviews from critics though it failed to perform financially. Farooq played the disrespectful husband who chose wealth above his family. His performance won a Miadhu Crystal Award for the Best Male Newcomer.
