Ahmed Fahmie bin Jamil (born 20 April 1987) is a former Singaporean association football, footballer who formerly played as a Forward (association football), forward for S.League club Home United FC, Home United and the Singapore national football team, Singapore national team. Early life Ahmed Fahmie was born and raised in Tampines, Singapore to the late Jamil Bin Sawi and Laila Binte Azzan Abdat. He went to Qiaonan Primary School and Pasir Ris Secondary School. He also has a younger brother named Ahmed Farhie Bin Jamil. He is currently Married. Football career Fahmie started his career at Home United FC, Home United in 1998, progressing through the club's youth system. He also represented Singapore national football team, Singapore's youth teams in the 2004 and 2005 Lion City Cup. In 2006, he joined Tampines Rovers FC, Tampines Rovers in the Prime League. The AFC Cup is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Under its current rules, the competition is played primarily between clubs from nations that did not receive direct qualifying slots in the top-tier AFC Champions League, based on the AFC Club Competitions Ranking. Woodlands Wellington Football Club is an inactive professional football club which played in the S.League, the top division of football in Singapore. They are based in Woodlands at the 4,300 seater Woodlands Stadium, where they have played since their establishment. The Prime League was the reserve and youth team soccer league of Singapore's S.League. Teams involved in the league are primarily made up of youth players from the S.League clubs. The Prime League was founded in 1997. S.League clubs are required to participate, and clubs who do not play at S.League level are also eligible to enter. In 2018, the Prime League was abolished, with the National Football League (NFL) installed as the second-tier competition.
