Ahmad Shah Khagga
Ahmad Shah Khagga is a Pakistani politician who had been a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from August 2018 till January 2023. Previously he was a Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from May 2013 to May 2018. He has been member of privilege committee and member of planning and development committee from 2013 to 2018. He was also in office as Parliamentary Secretary of Energy. Early life He was born on 24 September 1966 in Pakpattan. Political career He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as a candidate of the Pakistan Muslim League (Q) (PML-Q) from PP-229 (Pakpattan-III) in the 2013 Punjab provincial election. In April 2018, he left the PML-Q and joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Pakpattan (Punjabi and ), often referred to as Pākpattan Sharīf (; ''"Noble Pakpattan"''), is the capital city of the Pakpattan District, located in Punjab province of Pakistan. Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP; ur, , ) is a political party in Pakistan. It was founded by Jahangir Tareen on 8 June 2023. It was registered with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on 5 October 2023. 2013 Punjab Provincial Election
Provincial elections were held in the Pakistani province of Punjab to elect the 16th Provincial Assembly of the Punjab on 11 May 2013, alongside nationwide general elections and three other provincial elections in Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The remaining two territories of Pakistan, AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan, were ineligible to vote due to their disputed status.
