Ahmad Bajouri Lebanese rugby league footballer who represented Lebanon in the 2000 World Cup. Playing career Bajouri was selected as part of the Lebanese squad in the 2000 World Cup however he did not play a game. He made his National Rugby League debut for the Wests Tigers in 2002, playing in nine games before joining South Sydney for the 2003 NRL season The 2003 NRL premiership was the 96th season of professional rugby league football in Australia and the sixth run by the National Rugby League. Fifteen teams competed, with the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles returning in place of their failed joint .... He played in eleven games for the club before he was involved in a car accident that ended his career. In 2009 a court awarded him over $1 million compensation for the crash due to loss of earnings. The Wests Tigers are an Australian professional Rugby league, rugby league football team, based in the Inner West and South West Sydney. They have competed in the National Rugby League since being formed at the end of the 1999 NRL season as a joint-venture club between the Balmain Tigers and the Western Suburbs Magpies. The Lebanon national rugby league team (Arabic: المنتخب اللبناني للرجبي ليغ) represents Lebanon in rugby league football. Nicknamed "the Cedars" after the Lebanese cedar tree, the team was formed by Lebanese Australians in 1997 and have been administered by the Lebanese Rugby League Federation since 2002.
