Ahmad Akhgar
Ahmad Akhgar ( fa, احمد اخگر) was an Iranian colonel, politician, poet and journalist during the Qajar, first and second Pahlavi dynasty. Life At the same time as the Constitutional Movement, Akhgar joined the ranks of the constitutionalists and during the Topkhaneh Square incident, along with other freedom fighters, he besieged the Sepehsalar Mosque and while giving a speech, he taught the warrior military drills. During the Persian campaign (World War I), he was one of the Iranian leaders who fought against the British. Akhgar, during the British occupation of Bushehr, he played an important role in organizing the spontaneous movement of the people of Fars to counter British aggression. Ahmad Shah Qajar awarded him the Lion and Sun in recognition of his bravery.
