''Ahista Ahista'' ( hi, आहिस्ता आहिस्ता, ur, آہستہ آہستہ, translation: Slowly Slowly) is a Hindi language film released in October, 1981. Shammi Kapoor
Shammi Kapoor (born Shamsher Raj Kapoor; (pronounced ʌmːi kʌpuːɾ 21 October 1931 – 14 August 2011) was an Indian actor who worked in Hindi cinema. He is the recipient of two Filmfare Awards, winning in the categories of Best Actor for ''Brahmachari'' (1967) and Best Supporting Actor for ''Vidhata'' (1982). Deven Verma (23 October 1937 – 2 December 2014) was an Indian film and television actor, particularly known for his comic roles, with Bollywood directors like Basu Chatterji, Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Gulzar. He also produced and directed films, including '' Besharam''. He won Filmfare Best Comedian Award for ''Chori Mera Kaam'', ''Chor Ke Ghar Chor'' and '' Angoor''. The 29th Filmfare Awards were held in 1982. Films belonging to the Parallel Cinema and Indian New Wave won most of the awards at the ceremony, signaling a trend where filmmakers and audiences were moving towards more meaningful cinema. ''Ek Duuje Ke Liye'' led the ceremony with 13 nominations, followed by ''Chakra'' with 6 nominations and ''Baseraa'' and ''Kalyug'' with 5 nominations each. Anwar Hussain (born 1 February 1949), known popularly by his first name Anwar, is an Indian playback singer who rose to prominence in the Hindi playback industry because of the uncanny resemblance of his voice with that of singer Mohammed Rafi. Bhupinder Singh (born Bhupinder Soin, 6 February 1940 – 18 July 2022) was an Indian musician, a ghazal singer and also a Bollywood playback singer. Early life Bhupinder Singh was born in Amritsar, Punjab to Natha Singhji, a musician and his introducer to music. Bhupinder's father was a stern teacher, and at one point, he detested music and its instruments.
