Agustín Arrieta
José Agustín Arrieta (29 August 1803 – 22 December 1874) was a Mexican genre painting, genre painter or costumbrismo, costumbrista painter known for his scenes of everyday life in nineteenth-century Puebla, the city in which he lived most of his life. He was most prolific, however, as a still life painter, depicting many typical Mexican foods and dishes. Early years and training The son of Tomás Arrieta, of Basque origin, and of Rita María Fernández, Agustín Arrieta was brought as a young boy to the city of Puebla, where he lived for the rest of his life. There is little documentary evidence of this assertion, except for his certificate of marriage to María Nicolasa Lorenzana Varela, dated 29 August 1826, and documents that demonstrate his membership in and participation in competitions of the Academy of Fine Arts in Puebla and the Academy of San Carlos. Santa Ana Chiautempan
Santa Ana Chiautempan is a city in Chiautempan Municipality in the south-central part of the Mexican state of Tlaxcala. The city serves as the municipal seat of the municipality, which covers an area of 66.21 km² (25.56 sq mi). At the 2005 census it had a population of 46,776 inhabitants, the fourth-largest community in the state in population (after Villa Vicente Guerrero, Apizaco Apizaco is a city in Apizaco Municipality located near the geographic center of the Mexican state of Tlaxcala, approximately 25 minutes by car from the state's capital city of Tlaxcala. The city gets its name from the Nahuatl language words "ā ..., and Huamantla). The city lies at the extreme western end of the municipality, which had a census population of 63,300 inhabitants. Its largest other communities are the towns of San Bartolomé Cuahuixmatlac, San Pedro Tlalcuapan de Nicolás Bravo, and San Pedro Muñoztla.
