Agumon
is a fictional character from the Japanese multimedia franchise ''Digimon''. He is a reptile-like Digimon who has appeared in various parts of the ''Digimon'' franchise including anime, manga, toys, video games, trading card games, and other media. Creation and development Agumon was created by Kenji Watanabe for the Digital Monster Virtual Pet in 1997 and was created to be a dinosaur that would be able to be taken on a stroll. Anime While creating the ''Digimon Adventure'' short, director Mamoru Hosoda wanted to focus on Tai and Kari's relationship with Koromon, the Digimon that appeared in their house. Taichi "Tai" Kamiya, known as in Japan, is a fictional character in the multimedia franchise '' Digimon''. Digimon Next
is a Japanese manga series written by Tatsuya Hamazaki and illustrated by Takeshi Okano. It is the second '' Digimon'' manga and was serialized in Shueisha's ''V Jump'' magazine from 2006 to 2008. The main character is Tsurugi Tatsuno and is partnered with a Greymon (later Agumon). Tsurugi makes contact with the Digital World through his Digimon Mini virtual pet device and a "Battle Terminal", a virtual reality interface. Digimon can use the technology to materialize in the human world as well. Plot Tsurugi Tatsuno is a boy who competes in Virtual Digimon Battle tournaments. The Digital Monster is a digital pet created by WiZ and Bandai that spawned the ''Digimon'' franchise. It was released by Bandai on June 26, 1997 in Japan and on December 5, 1997 in North America. This pet was a masculine counterpart to the Tamagotchi, which was deemed more appropriate for girls. It was similar to earlier virtual pets with the distinctions of being a fighting pet that could connect with others like it. The original Digital Monster model that was released in 1997 sold units worldwide, including in Japan and overseas, up until March 2004. By 2005, more than Digital Monster units had been sold worldwide.
